Hello, I am Deuza!
My name is Bastiaan Ruys also known as Deuza! I’m a professional pinup artist based in the south of France, specializing in both traditional and digital techniques. My journey into pinup art began 6 years ago, and since then, I’ve sold my work worldwide, both online and at conventions.
In addition to creating art, I have a background in teaching, having previously guided students through the fundamentals of drawing.
Every year, I host the Pinuptober challenge, where I create a new pinup illustration every day throughout October. This event has gained significant recognition and continues to grow in popularity.
While I enjoy working digitally, my focus has recently shifted toward traditional media, particularly pencils and alcohol markers, which allow me to bring depth and vibrancy to my illustrations. My original drawings have found homes across the globe, and I take great pride in sharing my passion for pinup art with collectors and enthusiasts alike.

We’ll also explore stylisation techniques to help you discover your personal artistic voice, and finish with portraiture, focusing on how to convey emotion through art.
You can pause, replay, and review the videos as often as you like, and while the course is suitable for teens, adults, and children (no explicit content), it's best followed in order — moving from foundational concepts to more advanced techniques.
